The chat is the shop.
Sellers keep being told to send people to a website. Their customers do not want a website — they want to ask a question and get an answer. We build for where the sale actually happens.
Millions of sellers run real businesses out of their DMs — and every tool they are offered asks them to move somewhere else first. We think that is backwards.
Since 2023, we've been trying to build something that people would genuinely use.
Most of our ideas started the same way: over a chai break.
We would sit together, throw around a hundred ideas, get excited about a few of them, and then go back to work. We were good at brainstorming. Actually building was a different story.
One day, Chirang came up with an idea. What if people could earn money from things they already own but barely use? A badminton racket sitting in the corner. A guitar that hasn't been played in months. A watch that rarely gets worn. Useful things, just sitting there, that someone else needs right now.
It was an interesting idea. It was also still just an idea.
Around the same time, Aezaz had started a baby clothing business and was learning what running a small shop actually takes.
Then came another chai break. Aezaz said something that sounded ordinary, but landed like a problem worth solving:
Customer messages were arriving through Instagram and WhatsApp. Enquiries were getting missed. Keeping track of who wanted what, answering the same questions, and turning those conversations into actual orders had become a job in itself.
That is when it clicked. The problem was never that small businesses lacked customers. The problem was that the business depended too much on the owner being online.
That became Zippsite: somewhere a shop can put its products, let customers find them and buy them, and keep selling even when nobody is sitting there replying to messages.
Because a business shouldn't stop just because its founder goes to sleep.
That's what we're building: a way for people to sell while they sleep.
Sellers keep being told to send people to a website. Their customers do not want a website — they want to ask a question and get an answer. We build for where the sale actually happens.
Nobody wants to buy from a robot. You write the rules, the greeting and the lowest price you will accept. Zippsite works inside those limits and hands the chat back the moment you want it.
Verified COD, proper payment links, next-day settlement and an order list that survives a lost phone. The boring things large businesses take for granted, priced for a shop run from a bedroom.
We haven't launched yet, so here is the honest version of the roadmap rather than a wall of numbers.
One catalogue and one order list behind every place your customers already message you.
Two-way sync with the tools you already use, so your stock count is never a guess.
Which post sold, which size sold out, which customer is worth messaging first.
Still small enough to answer you ourselves.
We're opening Zippsite to a small group of sellers first. Tell us about your shop and we'll make room for you.
